Tender and juicy fajitas served sizzling along with our bean soup, award-winning guacamole, cheddar cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and flour tortillas.

Since 1976, Desperados has been a Dallas original — a place where family recipes, award-winning margaritas, and signature tacos have brought friends and neighbors together for 50+ years.
Jorge Levy and two partners opened our first dining room on Greenville Avenue with recipes carried up from Mexico City. Twelve tables. A hand-cranked tortilla press. No reservation system but plenty of cold cerveza.
Three tables later — and one National Restaurant Association “Faces of Diversity” award for Jorge — the press still turns. The recipes still come from the same book.

We’ve fed the Cowboys, Mavericks and a Super Bowl.
From rehearsal dinners to stadium tailgates — Desperados has catered Dallas’s biggest nights for forty years. Private rooms seat up to 50.
